Kawneer and Traco Welcome New Product Managers

Since our beginning more than a century ago, Kawneer has been recognized as an innovator and industry leader. We strive to think ahead of market challenges and provide opportunities for business growth and advancement in architecture. We do this through the products, systems and tools that we create and the people we bring on to help create them. Hiring and placing the right people within our organization is critical, and in support of this we would like to introduce you to two of our newest product managers.

Lisa Petsko

This past fall, Lisa joined Kawneer North America as Product Manager, Curtain Wall and Sun Control. In this position, she is responsible for developing the overall product strategy and road map related to these product lines. She also leads all related new product development projects – from concept to launch. 

With more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Lisa has held a variety of positions. Prior to joining Kawneer, she served as a product manager at Sto Corp. managing the air and moisture barrier product line.

Lisa is a LEED® Green Associate and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. A native of Georgia, she received a bachelor of science degree in marketing at Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1992 and a master’s degree in business administration at Kennesaw State University in 2000. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys traveling, gardening, hiking and reading.


Elizabeth Cotton  

As Product Manager, Storefront, Entrances and Framing, Elizabeth Cotton is responsible for generating the product road map, managing new product projects and prioritizing maintenance decisions relative to her product range. 

Elizabeth joined Kawneer this past fall with many years of experience in building and construction. Her previous work includes a position as Product Manager, Modules with First Solar where she was responsible for the new product development and product management of solar panels. Additionally, Elizabeth worked at Therma-Tru Corp. as the Product Manager, Entry Door Components. In this role, she was responsible for new product development and product management of residential fiberglass entry door components. 

Elizabeth is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council – Georgia Chapter. She attended The University of Toledo in Ohio where she received both her bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and master’s degree in business administration. Originally from Toledo, Elizabeth now resides in Alpharetta, Georgia and enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and two young children.
